About me
I am a qualified clinical psychologist with over 10 years experience of working for the NHS, the University of Reading and in private practice. I have worked with clients of all ages and from different backgrounds across a number of healthcare settings. I have specialist knowledge and experience of working with anxiety disorders and depression, as well as working directly with parents.
For a number of years I have also been involved in major research studies aimed at enhancing psychological treatments for anxious youth. I regularly provide training and supervision to other professionals and trainees and guest lecture at various institutions including UCL, University of Oxford, Anna Freud Centre and University of Reading. Currently I work part-time for the NHS and I am a Research Fellow part-time at the University of Reading. I have recently been awarded an NIHR doctoral research fellowship to carry out research into depression in adolescents, particularly focusing on improving treatments and findings ways to support the family.
